Be a Next Level Leader
Micah

A Next Level Leader shines brightest when trouble is greatest. In the darkest of places, the smallest of lights seem bright. A Next Level Leader is a bright light in the darkness of an uncertain world.

As I wrote in a previous blog, I recently discovered my life message. It is woven through my everyday life without me even thinking about it. It makes its way into my conversations without effort. When I told Kristy…my wife of over 19 years, about it, she didn’t even blink because I talk about it all the time. My life message is, “God did, so you can.”

What do I mean by that?

Everything about scripture reveals that God did, so you can! Philippians 4:13 says it this way, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” It can’t get any clearer than that!

God’s promise does not make everything easy, but it does make the impossible, possible.

As a leader you will face obstacles today. Facing obstacles is what a leader does. Some of them will seem unsurmountable. Others situations will have no good answers. For the Next Level Leader this is par for the course.

God’s promise does not make everything easy, but it does make the impossible, possible.

A Next Level Leader must adopt this understanding. The world has a way of beating people into submission. Most people operate within the same basic limitations. The meaning of success has changed into occupying the same territory while holding on to more stuff. Those you lead need someone who can see what can be and will lead them into that future. They need you!

Maybe the grand vision for your life has faded, but at least some level of comfort has been achieved. You have found a happy medium. You haven’t experienced all you hoped to at one point in life, but what you have has become normal. You are comfortable. Your team is comfortable. Life is normal.

If normal is what you are looking for, I’m happy for you. Congratulations on your achievement.

If however you are one of those few who are not satisfied with the limitation you see in your life. You are ready to push against the boundaries the world is pushing you to accept. Let me be a voice of opposition to that world of ease. You don’t need one more person telling you what can’t be done. You need someone to remind you that “all things” to God means “all things!”

Under divine inspiration Paul declared the limits removed for the life that has Christ as it’s undergirding authority. If that describes your life than hear me shouting from the mountain top, “Dream again! Reach again! Believe again!”

Be the Next Level Leader God has called you to be.

God did so you can!
